Members have been selected and will convene in September
The Oregon Health Authority is pleased to announce members of the Health IT Task Force have been selected and will convene in September! This task force will provide recommendations to OHA on a state multi-year Health Information Technology / Health Information Exchange Business Plan framework, including the next steps the state should take related to:
- Health Information Exchange (HIE) among all members of a care team to support care coordination
- Clinical data aggregation to support transformation efforts such as performance reporting and metrics, and alternative payment methodologies
A large number of nominations for the HIT task force were received and carefully considered. OHA ultimately sought and selected a diversity of representation across different groups (health plans/payers, health systems, hospitals, providers, local health information exchange efforts, and advocates/consumers), as well as a diversity of expertise and background.
